Cardio | Benefits, Pros and Cons, Do You Need To Do Cardio For Weight loss?

Cardio, something some people look forward to everyday while other people dread it. Some love it so much that they do more than they really ever need to. But then some people find as many ways around it as possible so it can just be avoided. Which person are you?

Well, no matter what person you are, whatever your goals are, it comes down to calories. Weight loss or weight gain, it’s all calories in vs. calories out. A lot of people always wonder if they need to do cardio to lose fat. Quick answer…no you don’t NEED it but I HIGHLY recommend you at least do some. “WHAT! I don’t need to!? SWEET!!!!” Whoa! hold it, not so fast. You have to realize that since it’s all calories in vs. calories out, you will have to eat less if you don’t do any cardio. Why? Because cardio burns a lot of calories so if you don’t do it, your calories burned will be lower making it harder to lose weight if you don’t cut your calories. And honestly who wants to eat even less? That sucks! In My personal opinion, I would much rather push through my daily/weekly cardio and get to eat a bit more than do no cardio but have to be starving all the time. Your decision.

Last thing to keep in mind, regardless of your goals, cardio is healthy. It keeps your heart, muscles, ligaments, everything healthy. Now too much of a good things is never good either, but even 4 times a week for 20 minuets is beneficial to the heart. So Try not to ever exclude it completely.
