Health Week: Day 4

Today I’m going to film, edit, and hopefully upload my first nutrition video! It’s going to be about 5 healthy snack foods and how to eat them PLUS 3 beginner supplements that are great additions to health routines to see faster results. So for my blog post I decided to talk about another “supplement” I find beneficial that won’t be in the video! Lets get started!

First off, the product I’m going to be talking about is Apple Cider Vinegar. Some people in the health or fitness industry may have heard of this or are using it, but its not NEARLY as used or as known as it should be! It’s incredible with all its AMAZING health benefits! It’s also extremely important that for the benefits, you get raw and unfiltered! I bet you never thought that people out there (including me) supplement with vinegar.  But crazy enough we do! There are so many health benefits about that this product that to type it all out would take a whole another blog post! So instead of me telling you, at the end of my post I will put a link to a good article listing Apple Ciders Vinegar’s benefits!

But I thought it might be important to tell you thats it doesn’t taste the best. And its also not necessarily something that you get used to either. So I have found some ways to take it with making it more palatable or unnoticeable! Heres a few ideas I came up with! Also, ideally to get all the benefits, you want to aim for taking 2 tbs of Apple Cider Vinegar daily.

– Infused water drink-  Take a water bottle or mason jar and fill it with any fruits and citrus you want. My favorites are raspberries with lemon, orange, lime, and grapefruit. Next take the jar or bottle filled with the cut fruit and fill it with water and let it infuse overnight. Tip: you can re-infuse the fruit up to 3 days!! In the morning, take the water and fill a 16 oz glass with it. Then add more lemon juice, 5-10 drops of liquid stevia, and 2 tsp of Apple Cider Vinegar. Drink this a few times a day and you reach your daily dose of vinegar!

-Salad dressing- Pretty self explanatory on what this is, but simply find a salad dressing recipe and replace the vinegar or lemon juice for Apple Cider Vinegar and there you have it!

-Shot Glass- Now WARNING! This isn’t tasty but it does get it down quick and give you a energy rush thats for sure! A little burn in the throat too but its all worth it! Take 2-3 oz of water and mix with 2-3 tsp of ACV. And DOWN IT!

 

Hope this gave you some ideas on how to take it. Even though it may taste weird or is weird for you to supplement with vinegar, it’s SO worth it!
